Create a new iSCSI Initiator

  1. Log in to the iSCSI web console at https://10.0.0.85/
  2. Expand 'Administrative Tools' in the menu tree on the left.
  3. Select 'Storage Services' in the menu tree.
  4. Choose the tab labeled 'LUN Map'.
  5. From the “drop-down” list next to 'LUN Map', select 'Add LUN Map'.
  6. Select the desired initiator name from the 'Initiator' drop-down list. Typically there will be a unique initiator defined for each unique server. As of this writing (Apr-2-2013) There is one initiator for the Operations server, defining several iSCSI volumes.

  7. Click 'Submit' to proceed to the next menu.

Edit and existing iSCSI Initiator

  1. Log in to the iSCSI web console at https://10.0.0.85/
  2. Expand 'Administrative Tools' in the menu tree on the left.
  3. Select 'Storage Services' in the menu tree.
  4. Choose the tab labeled 'LUN Map'.
  5. Select the desired initiator name from the list. Typically there will be a unique initiator defined for each unique server. As of this writing (Apr-2-2013) There is one initiator for the Operations server, defining several iSCSI volumes.

  6. The new logical drive should be at the bottom of the list of logical drives associated with the chosen initiator.
  7. Add the proper LUN number in the box in the right column. Usually the next incremental number is desired. For example if the line above the new entry indicates LUN # 6, then the new entry will become 7.
  8. Click the 'Submit' button to proceed.
  9. Click the 'Submit' button to commit the changes.

You can now connect the new volume to a server.
