Connecting and Configuring Zebra Label Printers

The Zebra Label Printers are used to print shipping labels on 4 inch wide by 6 inch tall adhesive labels.

It is important to use the correct driver for the correct model printer. This driver will allow you to choose the model at installation time.

  1. Log in to the computer as a user with administrator priviledges.
  2. Open the foler path shown and run the installer PrinInst.exe. If prompted by the “User Account Control” to allow changes, click yes.

If you are updating or re-installing the printer this port may already be available. Find it in the list on the left and choose it there and click “Next” to continue to step eight.
  7. If you are creating the port give it a short but descriptive name, or use the IP address to specifically identify it. Enter the IP address in the next field and leave the port number at 9100.

  8. On lthe last screen UN-check the two boxes and click “Finish”.
  9. When the installer finishes Open “Devices and Printers” (from the Start Menu or from the Control Panel). Find the new printer, right-click and choose “Printer Properties”.
